Inti — the sun

The story of Inti

The light behind your AI

Five hundred years ago, a great civilization built their world around the sun. They called it Inti. Today, we're building something new — and we chose the same name on purpose.

Part one

The Incan Sun God

The Inca were one of the greatest civilizations in human history. At the heart of everything they believed, built, and celebrated was a single idea: the sun is the source of all life.

They called their sun god Inti. Not just a distant star — a living presence. God of warmth. God of the harvest. God of knowledge and growth. The Inca called themselves Inti Cuna — the Children of the Sun.

The Inca built entire cities — Cuzco, Machu Picchu — aligned to the sun's movements. Their temples were filled with gold, not for wealth, but because gold was the color of Inti's light. To the Inca, Inti wasn't a metaphor. It was real, present, and generous.

"When Inti shone, crops grew, rivers ran, and the people thrived."

Every year at the winter solstice, the Inca held the Inti Raymi — the Festival of the Sun. Music, offerings, gratitude. A reminder that everything good came from that light above. The tradition is still celebrated in Peru today, drawing thousands of people every June 24th.

Your personal AI

My Inti. Your Inti. AI for the rest of us.

We chose this name carefully.

Just as the original Inti was a source of warmth and intelligence for an entire civilization, your Inti is a source of warmth and intelligence for your life.

Your Inti is your own personal AI. Not a corporate chatbot. Not a generic assistant that works for everyone and therefore works perfectly for no one. Your Inti is private, personal, and shaped by you.

🔒
Private
Your knowledge stays yours. Nobody else sees your Library or your conversations.
🌱
Personal
Your Inti learns what you care about — your work, your interests, your life.
Yours
It belongs to you. Not to a platform, not to an advertiser. Just you.

Think of your Inti like a brilliant, knowledgeable friend — one who has read everything you've ever read, remembers everything you've saved, and is always ready to help you think through whatever you're working on.

It starts with your Library. Every book, article, document, and web page you save in Inti Reader becomes part of what your Inti knows. Over time, it builds a picture of you — your career, your business, your passions, your questions. And it uses that picture to help you, every day.

"Not AI for everyone in general. AI for you in particular."

Part three

The IntiNet

Here's where it gets extraordinary.

Imagine millions of Intis across the world — each one private, each one unique, each one shaped by the person it belongs to. Now imagine what happens when those Intis choose to connect.

Not controlled by any company. Not harvested by any platform. People and their Intis, connecting directly — on their own terms, around shared interests and goals.

When two people share a common interest, their Intis can form a node. When hundreds share a passion — a field of work, a cause, a curiosity — the nodes grow into a network. When millions connect, a new kind of intelligence emerges. One that rises from the bottom up, not the top down.

We call this the IntiNet.

"Not a social network. A knowledge network. Built of minds, not posts."

The original Incan road system — the Qhapaq Ñan — stretched over 40,000 km across South America. It connected every corner of the empire. Information, goods, and people flowed through it freely. It was one of the greatest feats of human coordination ever built.

The new IntiNet is built of minds, not roads. Your knowledge, your AI, your connections — networked freely with others who share your world. Decentralized. Distributed. Yours to join, leave, and shape.

No single company owns the IntiNet. No algorithm decides who gets seen. The connections are between people — and their Intis.

Your Inti is waiting.

It starts with your Library. Build it, and your Inti will grow with it.
